Urban Coffee Roaster is a HK coffee brand that has been roasting and serving fresh beans from carefully selected origins with a high degree of quality and consistency since 2014. This branch is the largest among the four and is located on the TKO waterfront promenade.

UCR offers a wide variety of caffeinated beverages, ranging from espresso-based coffees to pour overs and everything in between. Their cappuccino is a great example of an espresso blend with layered flavours of chocolate, caramel, and chestnut with mild acidity served in their signature mug. You will be spoilt for choice with their variety of beans(single origin, blends) and roast profiles.

The TKO branch is by far the biggest both in size and number of tables. However, the interior layout is more like a restaurant than a coffee shop with tables lined up next to one another, rather than spaced out as you’d expect. You should seek out a window seat to appreciate the promenade view. The centerpiece has to be the mobile, retro-looking ice cream stand opposite the main entrance, called Frozen Vibrations, selling Stecco Natrura ice cream. Go during the weekdays to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere.
